About ZapKit
ZapKit is a collection of free, single-purpose online tools. Each page does one job: you open it, enter a link, a few numbers or a file, and the answer appears on the same page. There is no account to create and nothing to install.
Who builds it
ZapKit is built and run by Pulkit Garg, an independent developer in India. It began as one tool: a way to work out how long a YouTube course playlist would take to finish. People kept asking for related tools, so it grew into a set of YouTube tools, and it is now expanding into calculators, converters and file tools.
How the tools work
- In your browser where possible. Calculators, converters and file tools run on your own device. What you type or open isn't sent to a server.
- Official data for YouTube. The YouTube tools read public information from YouTube's official Data API at the moment you look something up. They never download or re-host videos.
- Estimates are labelled. Where a tool estimates something, such as YouTube earnings, it says so and explains the assumptions behind the number.
How the content is checked
Every tool page explains how its result is worked out and answers common questions about it. Formulas and rules come from the original source, such as the official definition of a calculation or the documented behaviour of an API, and pages are updated when those sources change. If you find a result that looks wrong, please get in touch; reports of mistakes are fixed first.
How ZapKit is funded
The tools are free. Running costs are covered by advertising, which is kept apart from the tools themselves, and by voluntary support from users. Read the privacy policy for how ads and analytics work on this site.
Not affiliated with YouTube or Google
