Why these YouTube tools

They started as a way to see how long a course playlist would take. They're still small, fast and focused on answers.

Real data only
Every number comes from the official YouTube Data API at the moment you look it up. Only the earnings calculators estimate, and they say so.
No account needed
No sign-up and no YouTube login. Paste a link and get the answer.
Built for long playlists
Playlists with thousands of videos are read in full, not just the first page.
Free, built by one person
Every tool is free to use. If one saves you time, you can support the project with any amount.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign in to YouTube?

No. The tools only read public data from the official YouTube Data API, so you never sign in or connect your account.

Where does the data come from?

Durations, views, likes, comments and channel details come straight from the YouTube Data API when you run a lookup, and tag and hashtag ideas come from YouTube's own search suggestions. The earnings calculators are the only estimates, and they say so.

Do you store what I look up?

We keep a simple log of which public playlist, video or channel was looked up, with which tool and when, to see which tools are used and to stay within YouTube's API limits. It holds no name, account, IP address or anything else that identifies you. Videos you tick as watched are saved only in your own browser.

Are these tools made by YouTube?

No. ZapKit is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. It uses the YouTube API Services under YouTube's terms.

Which tool should I use for a link?

Paste it into the box at the top of this page. Playlist links open the playlist length calculator, video links open video stats, and channel links or @handles open channel stats.
