YouTube Channel Stats Checker

Look up any channel's subscribers, total views and video count, see how its latest uploads are doing, and which days it uploads on.

What is a YouTube channel stats checker?

A channel stats checker shows any YouTube channel's public numbers: subscribers, total views, number of videos, country and creation date. It accepts an @handle, a channel link, a channel ID or a link to any of the channel's videos.

The lifetime totals only tell part of the story, so it also loads the channel's 30 most recent uploads with their views, likes and engagement, works out median views, and shows which weekdays the channel posts on and which of those days do best. Brands use it to vet a creator before a sponsorship, creators use it to benchmark against channels in their niche, and viewers use it to see how a favourite channel is doing right now.

How to use the Channel Stats Checker

  1. 1.Enter the channel

Paste a channel link, an @handle, a channel ID, or the link to any of the channel's videos.

  2. 2.Look up the stats

Press Look up to load the channel's public statistics and its 30 most recent uploads.

  3. 3.Compare the uploads

Check median views, the best upload days and each recent video's views, likes and engagement.

Example: why median beats average

Suppose a channel's last five uploads got these views.

Views
8,000 · 9,500 · 10,000 · 11,000 · 250,000
Average
57,700
Median
10,000

median = the middle value when views are sorted

One viral upload pushes the average to 57,700, but a typical video gets about 10,000, and that's what the median shows.

Reading a channel's stats

Subscriber count is shown the way YouTube reports it, which is rounded for larger channels. Total views and video count are exact.

The recent uploads table is often more useful than the lifetime totals. Comparing a channel's recent views with its subscriber count shows how many of those subscribers still watch.

Median views are the middle value of the last 30 videos, so one viral upload doesn't inflate them the way it inflates an average. The upload days table shows which weekdays the channel posts on and which of those days its videos get the most views.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the subscriber count rounded?

YouTube rounds public subscriber counts to three significant figures for channels with more than 1,000 subscribers, so every tool shows the same rounded number.

Why does it say subscribers are hidden?

The channel owner has chosen to hide their subscriber count, so YouTube doesn't share it.

Can I find out how long all of a channel's videos are?

Yes. YouTube keeps a list of all of a channel's public uploads. Use the "Total length of all uploads" link on the results to open it in the playlist length calculator.

How is the best upload day worked out?

Each of the last 30 uploads is grouped by the weekday it went live, in your time zone. Videos under 7 days old are left out, because they're still collecting views, and a day needs at least 2 remaining uploads to be ranked. The day with the highest median views wins.

Why median views instead of average views?

A single viral video can double a channel's average. The median is the view count of the middle video, so it shows what a typical upload gets.

Does it show a channel's earnings?

No. YouTube doesn't publish earnings, and estimates based on views are often far off, so this tool only shows real data.
