What is a YouTube channel finder?
A channel finder searches YouTube for channels only, by name or topic, and shows each result's numbers next to it: subscribers, total views, video count, country and the year it started.
YouTube's own search mixes channels in with videos and hides most of those numbers until you open each channel. Here you see up to 20 channels at once, in YouTube's own relevance order, and can copy any channel's @handle or ID or open its full stats. It's useful when you only half-remember a channel's name, when you're looking for creators to collaborate with or sponsor in a niche, or when you want to see who else is making videos about your topic.
How to find a YouTube channel
1.Type a name or keyword
Search for a channel's name, or a topic like "woodworking" to find channels about it.
2.Compare the results
Up to 20 channels are listed in YouTube's search order with their subscribers, views and videos.
3.Open or copy
Copy a channel's handle or ID, open it on YouTube, or see its full stats.
Example: searching a topic
Searching for "woodworking" returns channels like these, each with its numbers.
- Result
- Name · subscribers · videos · since
- 1
- A large woodworking channel · 2.1M · 640 · 2012
- 2
- A hand-tools channel · 410K · 210 · 2016
- 3
- A beginner projects channel · 38K · 95 · 2021
Results follow YouTube's relevance ranking, so a small channel can appear above a big one when it matches better.
Search that shows the numbers
YouTube's search mixes channels in with videos and hides most of their numbers. This tool searches channels only and shows each one's subscribers, total views, video count, country and creation date together.
Results come in the order YouTube's search ranks them, which weighs relevance, not size. Use it to find a channel when you only know part of its name, or to see who else makes videos about a topic.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find a YouTube channel by name?
Type the name above and press Search. If you know the @handle, the channel stats tool goes straight to it.
Why isn't the channel I'm looking for listed?
Try a different spelling or fewer words. Channels with very few videos, and terminated or hidden ones, may not appear in YouTube's search.
Why do some channels show subscribers as hidden?
Channel owners can hide their subscriber count, and then YouTube doesn't share it.
Does a higher result mean a bigger channel?
No. Results come in YouTube's relevance order, so a small channel that closely matches your words can appear above a large one. Compare the subscriber and view numbers shown next to each.
