What is a playlist title extractor?
A playlist title extractor copies the title of every video in a YouTube playlist into a clean list. You get just the titles as the creator wrote them, without the view counts, durations and channel names that come along when you select text on the YouTube page.
The list can stay in playlist order or be sorted by newest, oldest, most viewed or alphabetically, with or without numbers. Repeated videos can be listed once, and placeholders for deleted or private videos are left out. It's a quick way to turn a playlist into a course outline, a syllabus, a setlist for a show, or a checklist of episodes to watch.
How to copy all video titles from a YouTube playlist
1.Paste the playlist link
Paste the address of the playlist whose titles you need and press Extract titles. Unlisted playlists work too.
2.Choose the order
Keep the playlist order, or sort by newest, oldest, most viewed or alphabetically, and number the lines if you like.
3.Copy or download
Copy all the titles at once, or download them as a .txt list or a .csv with links, dates and views.
Example: a numbered course outline
Extracting a 5-video playlist with Numbered on and the order kept gives:
- Line 1
- 1. Introduction to Python
- Line 2
- 2. Variables and Types
- Line 3
- 3. Lists and Loops
- Line 4
- 4. Functions
- Line 5
- 5. Working with Files
Choosing A–Z instead puts "Functions" first and "Working with Files" last, renumbered from 1.
A clean list of titles
A list of titles is the quickest way to turn a playlist into a course outline, a reading list for a class, a setlist or a checklist of episodes. The titles come exactly as YouTube stores them, without view counts, durations or other text from the page.
Repeated videos can be listed once, and the placeholders YouTube keeps for deleted and private videos are left out by default, so the list only holds videos people can watch.
Frequently asked questions
How do I copy all the titles in a YouTube playlist?
Paste the playlist link above, press Extract titles, then press Copy all. Every title is copied, one per line.
Can I sort the titles alphabetically?
Yes. Choose A–Z or Z–A under Order. You can also sort by newest, oldest or most viewed.
Why do some videos show as Deleted video or Private video?
YouTube keeps removed videos in playlists under those placeholder titles. They're left out by default; untick the option to include them.
Can I get the links too?
Yes. The CSV download has the title, link, upload date and views of each video, or use the playlist link extractor.
