What is a PDF merger?
A PDF merger combines separate PDF files into one document, page after page, in the order you choose. It's what you need when a form wants all your documents as a single upload, or when you want to send one attachment instead of six.
This merger reads each file in your browser, copies its pages into a new PDF without re-rendering them, and saves the result. Because pages are copied rather than converted, text stays searchable and nothing loses quality. You can reorder files before merging, see the total page count, and add more files at any time.
How to use the Merge PDF
1.Add your PDFs
Choose two or more files, up to 50. Each shows its page count and size.
2.Put them in order
Use the up and down arrows. The first file's pages come first in the result.
3.Merge and download
Press Merge, then Download merged PDF.
Example: documents for a visa application
Three PDFs that the portal wants as one file:
- 1. Passport scan
- 2 pages
- 2. Bank statement
- 10 pages
- 3. Employment letter
- 1 page
- Merged PDF
- 13 pages, in that order
The merged file has all 13 pages: the passport scan first, then the statement, then the letter. If the upload has a size limit, compress the merged file afterwards.
What's kept when PDFs are merged
Pages are copied exactly: text stays selectable, and images, fonts, page sizes and rotation are unchanged, so merging never lowers quality. Bookmarks aren't carried over, fillable form fields may stop working, and the merged file gets fresh document properties, so fill in forms before merging.
Password-protected PDFs can't be merged until the protection is removed, because their contents are encrypted. Open them in a PDF reader with the password and save or print a copy without it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on file size?
Up to 50 files and 200 MB each. Very large merges depend on your device's memory; a phone may struggle above a few hundred MB in total.
Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?
Extract those pages first with Split PDF, then merge the smaller files here.
Will the merged file be bigger than the originals put together?
Usually it's about the same, sometimes a little smaller, because shared resources are packed together. Use Compress PDF if you need it smaller.
Are my documents safe?
They never leave your device. The merging runs in your browser with JavaScript, and nothing is uploaded or stored.
