Case Converter

Paste text once and get it in every common case, from UPPERCASE and Title Case to camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case for code.

What is a case converter?

A case converter changes the capitalization of text without retyping it. Writers use it to fix text typed with Caps Lock on, to turn a heading into proper title case, or to make a list consistent. Developers use it to turn a phrase into a variable, file or URL name in the convention their language expects.

Paste text once and this converter shows it in thirteen styles at once: upper, lower, title, sentence and capitalized case for writing, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and dot.case for code, plus alternating and inverse case for fun. Each has its own copy button.

Writing cases and programming cases

Title case follows AP style, keeping short words like "a", "of" and "the" lowercase unless they start the title; capitalize-each-word capitalizes every word. Sentence case capitalizes only the first word, so proper nouns need a check afterwards.

Programming cases join words without spaces: camelCase for JavaScript variables, PascalCase for classes and components, snake_case for Python and databases, kebab-case for URLs and CSS, and CONSTANT_CASE for constants. Punctuation is dropped when words are joined.
